Why CRS TMT Bars Are Better Than Ordinary Iron Sariya


CRS is a patented technology by HSE Germany, which is used to manufacture thermo processed bars across the world. The CRS TMT sariya uses a specialised Quenching and Self-Tempering process that applies a two-phase cooling process while manufacturing steel bars.

In the CRSTMT manufacturing process, the bar is exposed to high-pressure water sprays in the rolling mill – this cools the surface and hardens it. In the next phase, the hot core is allowed to cool at ambient temperature on cooling beds. The final result is a steel bar that has an outer structure of tempered martensite and a core of fine-grain ferrite-pearlite.
